Teen Charged in Connection to Southeast DC Shooting That Killed 23-year-old in March 2023

In March of 2023, a guy who was 23 years old was killed, and according to the District of Columbia police, a minor who was 17 years old was detained and charged in connection with the murder.

A shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Bruce Place in southeast District of Columbia on March 7, 2023, and police responded to the scene. According to the District of Columbia police, two guys were hurt with gunshot wounds.

Dana Faulkner, who was 23 years old, was one of the guys who was shot and killed at the scene. The second man was sent to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

According to the District of Columbia Police Department, shortly after that, officers discovered a person who was hurt at the junction of Wheeler Road and Mississippi Avenue. A 15-year-old boy named Abdul Fuller was discovered with severe gunshot wounds. According to the police, he was sent to a nearby hospital, but he passed away upon arrival there.

During the shooting that took place at Bruce Place, Fuller sustained injuries, as indicated by the inquiry.

On June 21, another suspect was taken into custody in Florida, according to the District of Columbia police. When Faulkner was killed in 2023, a man from the District of Columbia who was only 17 years old was charged with second-degree murder while armed.
