A 63-year-old father was taken into custody following accusations that he shot and killed his son in Ohio, according to authorities.
Police in Olmsted Township took to Facebook to report that just after 9 p.m. on June 26, they were dispatched to a residence following accusations of domestic abuse involving a father and his 29-year-old son.
The guy allegedly accused his son of assaulting him using a baseball bat, according to authorities. The man allegedly told police that he had shot his son in the chest.

According to authorities, the man was found wounded by gunshots when police arrived at the residence and immediately started administering CPR.
After being taken to a hospital, the man reportedly passed away. Authorities claimed the father was apprehended outside the residence without a hitch.
Police have stated that charges are pending the results of the investigation, which is still underway.
Just northeast of Columbus, roughly 140 miles away, sits Olmsted Township.
