Grandson Charged With First-degree Murder of 90-year-old Grandfather in Hickory Hills

CHICAGO– During the weekend, a guy who is 32 years old was taken into custody and charged with the murder of his grandfather in the southwest suburb of Hickory Hills.

A first-degree murder complaint has been brought against Dean J. Faulk for the death of his grandfather, Dean L. Faulk, who was 90 years old and was discovered dead in their house in Hickory Hills on Friday, according to the police.

According to the paperwork filed in the Cook County court system, the suspect used an axe to strike his grandfather many times in the head and neck.

On Saturday, the police did not disclose the location of the Faulk residence; however, on Friday, the Hickory Hills police department stated that they responded to the 8700 block of 81st Court in response to a complaint of a male victim who had passed away. A history of “domestic-related incidents” was reportedly present at the residence, according to the cbsnews.

On Friday, the police said that they had taken into custody a person of probable interest. The younger Faulk was charged with first-degree murder the following day, which was the following day. On Sunday, the younger Faulk made his initial appearance in court at the Cook County Courthouse, which is located on California Avenue in Chicago of the city of Chicago.
