Two MEN CHARGED With Murder in Connection to LASHAUN KEITH’S DEATH AFTER 19 MONTHS

Two people have been taken into custody by the police in connection with the homicide of Lashaun Keith, who was 33 years old when his body was discovered in a field in Van Buren County for more than 19 months.

Both Bryan Wimbley, who is 29 years old and hails from Hartford, and Zachary Trainor, who is 22 years old and hails from Watervliet, have been arrested and are currently facing open murder charges in connection with the unfortunate death of Keith.

After conducting their investigation, the authorities came to the conclusion that Keith was murdered and assaulted in Kalamazoo County. His corpse was then moved to Geneva Township in Van Buren County, where it was found on November 3, 2022.

There is also the possibility that Trainor will be charged with removing a body without the approval of a medical examiner.

Major Case Unit, which consistedĀ of the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police, was in charge of the investigation while it was being conducted. After receiving the report from the investigation, the Kalamazoo Prosecutor’s Office authorized and issued the arrest warrants. The report was the result of the investigation as per wzzm13.

Both Wimbley and Trainor have been arraigned in the 8th District Court of Kalamazoo, and they are now being held in custody at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
